Erykah Badu’s Naked Video Stroll Earns Her Misdemeanor Charge

April 3, 2010

Texas (ChattahBox) – Erykah Badu has been charged with a misdemeanor of public indecency after stripping down in public and pretending to be shot at the site of President John F. Kennedy Jr. assassination.

The shoot was for her new music video for the single ‘Window Seat’, and has sparked controversy both for her naked walk through a pedestrian-heavy area, and for the image of her falling at the invisible shot.

The video was inspired by Matt and Kim, a punk dance duo who bared in all in Times Square in 2009 for the video to ‘Lessons Learned’.

She has been charged with public indecency, and she is likely facing a $500 fine.
