Bret Michaels Rushed To Intensive Care Unit, In Critical Condition

April 23, 2010

(ChattahBox) – Former Poison front man and reality star Bret Michaels has been rushed to the hospital for what is reportedly a brain hemorrhage.

Michaels complained of an incredibly painful headache early today, and was taken to the emergency room, where he was then transferred to the Intensive Care Unit.

According to doctors, he suffered bleeding at the base of the brain stem, a severe condition that has led his status to be moved up to ‘serious condition’.

Doctors are currently trying to figure out what caused it, though he was in the hospital recently for appendicitis.

He has been suffering for diabetes for some time, though it is not clear if either conditions led to his current medical problem.

I never liked Poison or any of their type of music, but from watching Bret on the Apprentice, you can see what a great guy he is and how much he cares about his family. I hope he can somehow recover from this.
