Amanda Bynes Returns to Acting After Hasty Retirement

Amanda Bynes[ChattahBox] – ‘What I Like About You’ actress, Amanda Bynes has come out of her self-imposed retirement from acting.  Just a month after tweeting she was done with Hollywood, she tweeted simply, “I’ve unretired.”

Bynes used her Twitter account similarly to announce her retirement in June. “I know 24 is a young age to retire but you’ve heard it here first. I’ve #retired.”  “I don’t love acting anymore so I’ve stopped doing it,” she continued at the time. “Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem” and “I’ve never written the movies & tv shows I’ve been apart of I’ve only acted like the characters the producers or directors wanted me to play.”

Since her debut on MTV’s ‘All That’ at the age of just eight, the now-24 year old actress has enjoyed some solid success, but like many child actors, Amanda was facing the awkward

    All That was on Nickelodeon, not MTV.
