Mick Kelly, Jess Sundin Among Anti-War Protesters Targeted in FBI Search

September 24, 2010

U.S. (ChattahBox U.S. News) – The FBI has raided the homes of eight people in Minneapolis and Chicago, several of which are associated with the anti-war movement, in search of evidence that they have been helping to fund terrorism.

Mick Kelly and Jess Sundin were among those searched, and both accused the FBI of linking them to terrorism because of their vocal dissent of the wars in the Middle East.

“The FBI is harassing anti-war organizers and leaders, folks who opposed U.S. intervention in the Middle East and Latin America,” Kelly said in a quote by RAW. His conversation was cut short when an agent seized his phone.

A statement from the FBI stated that no arrests will be made at this time, and that the raids were part of a search warrant to find evidence of possible involvement with terrorism.
