Sony PSP Sells More Than Nintendo DS, Wii Combined In April

 Sony has announced that their PlayStation Portable (PSP) has managed to sell more than the Nintendo DS and Wii combined in Japan in the month of April...Tokyo (ChattahBox) – Sony has announced that their PlayStation Portable (PSP) has managed to sell more than the Nintendo DS and Wii combined in Japan in the month of April.

The numbers come from game magazine publisher Enterbrain.

The Sony PSP sales in April were at 380,867 units in Japan, beating out the Nintendo DS which managed to sell 169,911 units.

The best-selling game was Monster Hunter Freedom 2G for the PSP, which helped push sales of the Sony PSP.

The Nintendo Wii dominated in terms of home consoles with 187,121 units sold in April. This compared to only 37,676 units for the PS3.
