A series of violent storms and tornadoes has ripped through the central United States, leaving at least 8 people dead in Arkansas.Little Rock (ChattahBox) – A series of violent storms and tornadoes has ripped through the central United States, leaving at least 8 people dead in Arkansas.

Other states impacted by the violent storms include Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas.

The number injured is now above 25, with that number growing as more damage is assessed.

Reports have stated that around 25 tornadoes have been ripping through Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, and Missouri.

The weather in this part of the U.S. continues to be devastating, as a series of winter storms back in February also lest 13 dead in Arkansas.

There have been 350 homes damaged, with over 6,000 homes and businesses losing power.

As of late Friday afternoon, the majority of the storms dissipated.
