Burma has declared the area of Irrawaddy as well as other regions, such as Rangoon, Bago, Karen, and Mon as disaster areas.

Winds of around 120mph rocked many of the regions with the death toll over 350 now.

It is believed that around 20,000 homes have been totally destroyed, with 90,000 people now homeless on the island of Haing-gyi alone. This number, along with the death toll, is only going to increase as they search more remote areas.

In many of the regions, as many as 75% of the buildings have totally collapsed to the ground. Internet connections, phone lines, power, etc. are all out for most of the regions.

The cyclone now sets its eyes on Thailand, where storm warnings have already been issued. Reports state it is weakening a bit though.
