The number of cases continue to grow as well as more and more young children are confirmed as being sick from the disease.

The two most recent deaths have been confirmed and come from the southern province of Guangdong, as well as neighboring province Guangxi.

The number continues to grow as this is the second time this week the death toll has increased in China from the disease.

The two deaths consisted of an 8-month-old girl from Guangdong as well as an 18-month-old boy who died in Guangxi.

China increased the number of confirmed cases as well to 25,000, a 5,000 increase from just one day earlier.

China stated the increased cases are not due to the disease spreading, but rather due to better reporting of the cases.
