A new study has revealed that half of diabetes patients living in the U.S. also suffer from arthritis..Hollywood (ChattahBox) – A new study has revealed that half of diabetes patients living in the U.S. also suffer from arthritis.

A survey of more than 800,000 people living in the U.S. helped researchers come up with data for their survey.

Around half of all who responded stating they had diabetes, also stated that they suffer from arthritis as well. The majority were over the age of 65.

Around 30% of people living with diabetes and arthritis were found to be more likely to be inactive due to the pain they go through.

This compared to 21% of patients with diabetes only, without arthritis.

The study showed there are 46 million Americans with arthritis, with 21 million living with diabetes.
