Woman Gives Birth To 23 Pound Twins In North Carolina

New York (ChattahBox) - A woman has given birth to a heavy set of twins in North Carolina. The twins came in at a combined weight of 23 pounds, 1 ounce at birth.
The twins were born at the Forsyth Medical Center’s Sara Lee Center for Women’s Health and are the second-heaviest set of twins ever, behind a pair born in 1927 which weighed 23 pounds, 12 ounces.
The twins are a boy and girl named Sean William Maynard and Abigail Rose Maynard.
The boy weighed 10 pounds, 14 ounces, while the gril weighed 12 pounds, 3 ounces.
His sister, Abigail Rose Maynard, weighed in at 12 pounds, 3 ounces.
Their parents Joey and Erin Maynard are reportedly doing well, as are the twins.
