Kroger announced their initial voluntary recall a week ago, but has expanded it by including products sold in Styrofoam tray packages wrapped in clear cellophane or purchased from a service counter in the store.

This comes as the E. coli outbreak investigation continues in Michigan, Ohio and abroad. More than half of the 15 people last week confirmed to be infected with E. coli purchased ground beef from Kroger.
