The 49-year old woman, Esmin Green, was in the emergency waiting for just about 24 hours before anyone at the hospital even noticed.

She had collapsed to the ground before another patient got the attention of the staff to come over, but it was too late. The surveillance video caught her on tape waiting in the room, and then collapsing.

The woman was admitted to the hospital on June 18 due to a mental illness linked to psychosis, and was left waiting for a bed in the emergency room.

The next morning, at around 5:30 a.m., the surveillance video shows the woman hunched over, and then shows staff and security not paying any attention.

According to reports, the hospital changed records to show that at 6:00 a.m., the woman was fine. The surveillance video has proven otherwise though.

The director pf psychiatry at the hospital, the doctor on duty, and head of security have all been fired.
