This is on top of the typical practice of watching calories and going through exercise routines.

Researchers from the Kaiser Permanente’s Center for Health Research followed 1,700 participants in the study, all of whom followed a diet which was rich in fruits, vegetables, as well as low or non-fat dairy products. They also exercised for 30 minutes each day.

After six-months went by, the average weight loss was 13 pounds. Over 60% of those lost at least 9 pounds.

What they found though was that those who kept a food diary of what they ate doubled the weight loss of people who did not keep a diary.

In the diary, they would write down what they ate, and also estimate the portion sizes to help keep track of calories.

The study will appear in the August issue of the American Journal of Preventive Medicine.

I posed for this picture. I am a plus sized model and my career is finally starting to take off. Today I just scheduled a NutriSystem commercial with Billy Jean King. Beat that.
