Doctor Sued After Rubbing Tattoo On Woman Patient In Surgery

Elizabeth Mateo, a woman from Camden County, New Jersey has filed a lawsuit against orthopedic surgeon Steven Kirhner for rubbing a tattoo on her during surgery.Washington (ChattahBox) – Elizabeth Mateo, a woman from Camden County, New Jersey has filed a lawsuit against orthopedic surgeon Steven Kirshner for rubbing a tattoo on her during surgery.

She claims that he rubbed a temporary tattoo on her abdomen area of her body while she was under anesthesia.

It took her until the next morning to find the tattoo of a rose on that part of her body.

Gregg Shiver, her attorney, filed the suit in Camden County Superior Court.

She is seeking punitive as well as compensatory damages from Kirshner.

The surgeon, Kirshner, has admitted that he did place a tattoo on Mateo, but claims he did it to cheer her up.
