The memo was sent out by Dr. Ronald B. Herberman to the staff and faculty at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute.

This comes after an international team of experts found that cell phones emit electromagnetic fields, which can increase your risk of cancer.

Dr. Ronald B. Herberman believes that the time is now for people to limit cell phone usage, as he stated“Really at the heart of my concern is that we shouldn’t wait for a definite study to come out, but err on the side of being safe rather than sorry later.”

Those at highest risk are children, as the use of cell phones, according to Herberman, can impact their organ development.

He also suggested that when using a cell phone, try your best to keep it away from your head, using a speakerphone or something of that nature.
