30 years ago, the first baby born from in vitro, or artificial insemination entered into the world, Louise Brown. She made history and continues to do so, turning 30-years old.

According to reports, an estimated 3.5 million babies have now been born with the use of in vitro, or IVF treatments, as more and more couples are being helped on a daily basis.

The idea behind in vitro is to take the eggs out of a woman, fertilize them, and then put them back into her body so that she can have a natural pregnancy.

This process helps 1 out of every 10 couples conceive their baby.
