The Black AIDS Institute in Los Angeles has released a report stating that African Americans have been ignored by U.S. government in the fight against HIV, AIDS..Washington (ChattahBox) – The Black AIDS Institute in Los Angeles has released a report stating that African Americans have been ignored by U.S. government in the fight against HIV, AIDS.

The Bush Administration has poured hundreds of millions of dollars into the fight against HIV, AIDS, but not much appears to be going to African Americans.

The report stated that there are 500,000 U.S. blacks who are HIV positive, which is higher than 7 out of the 15 poor countries the U.S. government is helping by giving money to fight HIV, AIDS.

The group is stating that the U.S. government is not paying enough attention to help blacks in this country.

They believe that too much money is going towards poor countries in Africa, and not enough is being spent on blacks in the U.S.

The exclamation point to this is the statement that if black America were a country, it would be 16th in the world in the number of people infected with HIV.
