According to the new regulation, any type of contraception, such as using the pill, would be considered a means of abortion.

The regulation is still in its draft stages, as nothing has been made official as of yet.

The common belief though is that contraception methods such as birth control pills will now be treated as abortion.

This has caused a lot of concern among health experts, as they argue that if this is done, many health insurance companies will no longer have to cover the pill.

Contraceptives such as the pill prevent women from getting pregnant, as they stop fertilized eggs from going into the uterus.

Medical experts state though that this is too early for an abortion to actually take place.

The fear is that in time, it will prevent women from getting the help that they need to stay protected during sex.
