A state court has rejected a plea to put a halt to the planned 10% California health care cuts......Washington (ChattahBox) – A state court has rejected a plea to put a halt to the planned 10% California health care cuts.

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge William Highberger ruled against the plea to put a stop to the cuts, which will impact both Medi-Cal and Denti-Cal programs.

Doctors, hospitals, and pharmacies filed a lawsuit last May to try and put a stop to the cuts, which they argue will put many citizens in California at risk.

They argue that the cuts to health care would put disabled, elderly, and poor people of not receiving the care that they need.

The group of doctors, pharmacists and hospitals may appeal the ruling.
