FDA Approves New Non-Pill Blood Pressure Drug

Washington (ChattahBox) - Medicines Co. has received FDA approval and can now market their non-pill blood pressure drug known as Cleviprex.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the blood pressure drug following studies which revealed that it was effective in rapidly reducing blood pressure.
The new drug is believed to be something that can help patients who cannot take oral medications.
This is the first non-pill drug to receive approval to treat high blood pressure in 10 years.
