The 17th International AIDS Conference continues i n Mexico City, as many continue the push to increase both prevention and treatments to help fight HIV/AIDS around the world..Boston (ChattahBox) – The 17th International AIDS Conference continues i n Mexico City, as many continue the push to increase both prevention and treatments to help fight HIV/AIDS around the world.

The International AIDS Conference is taking place in Mexico City, and will run through August 8th.

There are over 20,000 researchers, politicians, etc. who have shown up to showcase their support in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

The biggest topic as of right now is better prevention and treatment methods.

Beyond the obvious need for an HIV vaccine, many are also pushing to and increase access people have to medications and treatments already available.

Many have backed up this notion, including former president Bill Clinton.

Going beyond treatments, other prevention methods include a push for added sexual education, whic could also and in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
