The belief is that the recall has been issued due to a possible contamination of Listeria monocytogenes.

The sandwiches involved in the recall include ready-to-eat turkey and chicken sandwiches.

All of the sandwiches were sold 18 Roche Brothers and Sudbury Farms across Massachusetts, and were prepared on July 30.

The sandwiches may not have been sold until August 3rd, as the recall includes 80-ounce cases of Progressive Gourmet Buffalo Chicken Roller Sandwiches, Progressive Gourmet Chicken Caesar Roller Sandwiches, and Progressive Gourmet Honey Turkey with Baby Spinach Roller Sandwiches.

If you have purchased these sandwiches already, you are being urged not to eat them.
