The National Institutes of Health researchers conducted a study by testing out high-doses of vitamin C on mice.

They found that after the mice were injected with the dose of vitamin C, the size of their tumor reduced by nearly 50%, showcasing that the vitamin was helpful in killing cancer cells, and leaving healthy cells.
