Beef Recalled Linked To E. Coli Outbreak At Boy Scout Camp

A meat company based in Azusa, California called S&S Foods LLC has issued a recall of over 150,000 pounds of beef, as it has been linked to the E. coli outbreak at a Virginia Boy Scout camp..........Boston (ChattahBox) – A meat company based in Azusa, California called S&S Foods LLC has issued a recall of over 150,000 pounds of beef, as it has been linked to the E. coli outbreak at a Virginia Boy Scout camp.

The E. coli outbreak ran rampant through the Boy Scout camp in Virginia just last week, sickening over 20 people, including many kids.

The frozen ground beef from S&S Foods LLC company is intended for institutional use, food service companies, restaurants, etc, and was sent to distribution centers in Milwaukee, as well as Allentown, Pennsylvania.

A USDA investigation confirmed that the beef is tainted with the same E. coli strain that caused the outbreak at the Boy Scout camp.

S&S Foods LLC has recalled 153,630 pounds of beef in total.
