Majority Of Americans See Need For Health Care Overhaul
August 8, 2008
Washington (ChattahBox) - A new survey published by the non-profit Commonwealth Fund has revealed that the majority of Americans see a dire need for a major overhaul of the health care system.
The Commonwealth Fund published the survey, which was conducted in May 2008 by Harris Interactive.
The survey was done via random telephone interviews of 1,000 adults across the U.S.
The idea was to get their ideas as to the current state of the health care system in the U.S.
82% of those who responded stated that the health care system in the U.S. needs a total overhaul, with 90% stating that the current 2008 presidential candidates need to make health care reform a major issue.
