Whole Foods Recalls Beef Tainted By E. Coli In U.S., Canada

Boston (ChattahBox) - Whole Foods Markets has recalled fresh ground beef sold in both the United States and Canada due to a possible contamination with E. coli bacteria.
Whole Foods Markets is a grocery chain based in Austin, Texas, and has issued a recall of fresh ground beef sold between June 2 and August 6th.
The fresh ground beef involved in the recall comes from Coleman Natural Beef, which owns the Nebraska Beef processing plant.
Nebraska Beef was involved in another recall lately due to E. coli.
Whole Foods Markets has urged customers to throw away any of the meat they have left. If they want a refund, they can return the packaging, or just the receipt to their stores to receive one.
Illnesses have already been reported in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania, with the recall including those states, as well as Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Kentucky, Maryland, Ohio, Virginia, Washington D.C., Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, North Carolina, Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois, Nebraksa, Missouri, Wisconsin, and Canada.
