American Airlines Joins Susan G. Komen To Fight Breast Cancer

American Airlines has  teamed up with Susan G. Komen for the Cure to fight breast cancer.  ...Hollywood (ChattahBox) – American Airlines has teamed up with Susan G. Komen for the Cure to fight breast cancer.

American Airlines has struck a deal with the non-profit for a $7.5 million five-year study to look into and research inflammatory breast cancer, an aggressive form of the disease.

To this point, American Airlines has placed the well-known pink ribbon symbol on a Boeing 757 and American Eagle Embraer 145.

Going further, they expect to eventually have 8 planes painted in support of breast cancer research.

This new study will be conducted at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
