Home Made Brand Foods Expands Tuna Salad Recall

Home Made Brand Foods has expanded their recall of tuna salad that was sold in Stop & Shop stores across the New England area, as well as other various deli stores..........Boston (ChattahBox) – Home Made Brand Foods has expanded their recall of tuna salad that was sold in Stop & Shop stores across the New England area, as well as other various deli stores.

The expansion of the recall was announced by health officials just this week, as the fear continues that the tuna salad is indeed contaminated with bacteria known as listeria.

This type of bacteria, listeriosis can cause symptom such as fever, muscle aches, fatigue, and cramping.

Home Made Brand Foods issued the recall, which impacts tuna salad sol dbetween July 26 and August 10th.

The tuna salad was sold in Stop & Shop stores, as well as other deli locations.

Stop & Shop has also issued a voluntary recall of the tuna salad, which has an expiration date of August 19th.

The tuna salad is believed to have been sold in Rhode Island, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, and Massachusetts.
