The recall issued by the company will impact Pedigree Complete Nutrition Small Crunch Bites, which are sold in 20 pound bags.

Pedigree has confirmed that after the dog food tested positive for salmonella, the bags of dog food had already shipped to retailers.

Consumers who have already purchased this type of Pedigree dog food are being urged to return it to where you bought it, and get a refund.
