August 14, 2008
Boston (ChattahBox) - Four months ago, a 3-year old boy named Lazar Ognjenovic was blown into Lake Michigan, and nearly drowned to death. That boy has since fully recovered.
The toddler was sitting in his stroller when a wind gust picked him up, along with the stroller, and blew him into Lake Michigan.
Upon this happening, his grandfather, who was with him at the time, jumped in after him to save him.
The water was very cold, as it was at 42 degrees when he was blown in.
Rescue workers had to rescue the toddler, along with the grandfather.
They were able to rescue both, as the toddler was taken out of the water within 15 minutes.
Four months later, he has fully recovered.
