The California Department of Public Health announced the fines on Monday, which consist of $25,000 for each violation.

The violations were found to put patients at these hospitals at risk for injury, or even death.

A law installed in 2007 gave the state the power to actually fine these hospitals, if they were found to not provide the proper care for patients.

Over 40 hospitals in the state of California have been hit with fines since the law was put in place.

What hypocrisy-give the Patients the money. Oh can’t do that they might “sue!” (If they EVER found out how misplaced their trust was.)
