This could lead to an unlimited supply of blood.

U.S. researchers from the Massachusetts Advanced Cell Technology made the breakthrough, as they were able to take stem cells, and use them to grow red blood cells.

Stem cells on their own can work in a body to repair other cells. The fear has always been though that if they were taken from one patient and put in another, that the immune system of the body would reject them.

Researchers have stated though that if they are used to make red blood cells, the worry is gone.

Researchers have been able to grow all of the different types of blood, including A, B, O, AB, etc.

In the future, this could lead to an unlimited supply of blood for patients.
