Toviaz is manufactured by Schwarz Pharma in Germany, and distributed by Pfizer Inc.

The FDA approved the drug in two doses, with the first dose being a 4mg tablet, and the other a 8mg tablet.

According to the recommendations by the FDA, patients should begin by taking the 4mg tablet once daily.

If necessary, they can then step up to the 8mg tablet for better effectiveness.

The drug has proven to be effective for all adults and works by relaxing the smooth muscle tissue of the bladder.

This helps greatly cut down on the symptoms linked to overactive bladder.
