Nearly Half Of All U.S. Women Have Sexual Problems

A new study has found that nearly half of all U.S. women have sexual problems of some kind..........Washington (ChattahBox) – A new study has found that nearly half of all U.S. women have sexual problems of some kind.

The study was carried out at the Massachusetts General Hospital and was led by led by Dr. Jan Shifren.

Researchers carried out the study with a survey of 32,000 women aged between 18 to over 100.

What they found was that 40% of women reported having sexual problems of some kind.

They were most prevalent in women over the age of 65, and least prevalent in women between 18 and 44-years old.

39% of women in the study reported having very low sexual desire.

21% of women in the study had sexual problems in terms of having an orgasm.

On top of those numbers, distress impacted 12% of women, while 26% of women had trouble getting aroused.

The study was published in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
