According to a new study which has been released in the American Journal of Kidney Diseases, a fish diet is best in helping adults with diabetes avoid kidney disease..........Boston (ChattahBox) – According to a new study which has been released in the American Journal of Kidney Diseases, a fish diet is best in helping adults with diabetes avoid kidney disease.

Researchers focused on 22,000 middle-aged mena nd women led by Dr. Amanda Adler from Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.

517 of the 22,000 men and women had diabetes at the start of the study.

What they found was that adults who consumed fish twice a week and had diabetes could better prevent kidney disease.

18% of adults with diabetes who did not eat fish developed kidney disease, compared to 4% who consumed fish twice each week.
