Study Finds Links With Emotional Intelligence And Orgasm In Women

May 12, 2009

England (ChattahBox) – A new study on the sexual patterns of sets of twins has found that it is emotional intelligence, not performance, that has the most impact on whether a woman can have frequent orgasms.

According to the study, which was performed on 2,000 sets of twin sisters, found that those women who have a more advanced sense of emotional intelligence are able to achieve orgasm easier, and more efficiently, during both sex and masturbation. It also found that they had more intense, as well as more frequent, climaxes.

“Emotional intelligence seems to have a direct impact on women’s sexual functioning by influencing her ability to communicate her sexual expectations and desires to her partner,” Andrea Burri, the lead researcher on this product, explained.

The study is has been published in The Journal of Sexual Medicine.
