Vaccine Researcher: Gardasil ‘is a Great Big Public Health Experiment’

October 28, 2009

(ChattahBox)—Dr. Diane Harper, lead researcher in the development of two human papilloma virus vaccines, Gardasil and Cervarix, questioned the effectiveness of the vaccines to reduce cervical cancer and warned of safety issues administering the vaccine to children under the age of 15. She denounced vaccinating girls, as young as 11, as “a great big public health experiment,” which could cause dangerous side effects.

When Harper was asked why she was condemning a vaccine she helped create she responded: “I want to be able to sleep with myself when I go to bed at night.”

Dr. Harper, director of the Gynecologic Cancer Prevention Research Group at the University of Missouri, made these remarks during an address at the 4th International Public Conference on Vaccination which took place in Reston, Virginia on Oct. 2-4. She was there to presumably speak of the effectiveness of Gardasil and Cervarix, but instead questioned the policy of mass vaccinations of young girls.

She first noted that the evidence shows that the vaccine does little to reduce cervical cancer, beyond current preventative measures. She said, that the incidence of cervical cancer in the U.S. is already so low that “even if we get the vaccine and continue PAP screening, we will not lower the rate of cervical cancer in the US.”

Harper also noted that “four out of five women with cervical cancer are in developing countries.”

But more importantly, Harper warned that there have been no trials conducted by Merck, the manufacturer of Gardasil, to test the safety of vaccinating young girls. “There have been no efficacy trials in girls under 15 years,” said Harper. And she opposed mandated vaccinations for cercival cancer in schools, advocated by Merck.

“It is silly to mandate vaccination of 11 to 12 year old girls. There also is not enough evidence gathered on side effects to know that safety is not an issue,” warned Harper.

“To date, 15,037 girls have officially reported adverse side effects from Gardasil to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). These adverse reactions include Guilliane Barre, lupus, seizures, paralysis, blood clots, brain inflammation and many others. The CDC acknowledges that there have been 44 reported deaths.”

Last month, Harper concluded, “The rate of serious adverse events is greater than the incidence rate of cervical cancer.”

I want to thank Diane Harper for speaking the truth when it comes to the Gardasil Vaccine. As a mother of a child who developed pancreatitis after receiving the vaccine I know first hand the risk of side affects following vaccination. From all of us Mothers & Girls affected by Gardasil. Don’t let your child be “One Less”.

I’m uploading this on You Tube thanks guys, also commented thus on my video:

    Vac’s comments:

Strange, the Express (UK news-paper) pulled the story, Jab more deadly than the cancer.
Apologized apparently and Diane Harper said it was a fabrication.
Now she seems to have been at it again according to this article.
Also similar remarks she made on CBS site, remains:

My 16 yr old daughter was also injured by Gardasil. She had 2 of the 3 injections (Jan 9th and March 9th, 2009). Before Gardasil, she was a happy, healthy and vibrant teenager. Since Gardasil she is sick every day of her life. She has dizziness, overall weakness, numbness and tingling in both legs and left arm, back pain, neck pain, pressure headaches, vision problems, breathing problems, chest pains, racing heartbeats, brain fog, stomach problems, nausea, diarhea, weight loss, hair loss, jerking all over spells…the list goes on and on.

She was an A/B student but failed her 10th grade year because she was too sick to retain what she was trying to learn (brain fog). She no longer has the energy to go off with her friends. Most days she lays in bed, in pain.

This just doesnt happen to a healthy teenager!! And it just doesnt happen to THOUSANDS of other girls with no connection except they all had the Gardasil vaccine.

It doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure this one out.

Please educate yourself as much as you can before you allow anyone to push this unproven and unsafe vaccine on your daughter! The guilt is overwhelming from a mothers’ standpoint! I thought I was doing something to protect my daughter. Instead, I allowed the doctor to inject poison into my child and take away her life!

Gardasil Adverse Events — Possible Thiamin-Deficiency Connection.

Many of the devastating adverse events experienced by people who have been injected with Gardasil could result from “thiaminase.”

Gardasil is a virus-like particle vaccine. It is produced using silkworms. Silkworms contain thiaminase. Thiaminase is a heat resistant enzyme which destroys thiamin. If Merck fails to destroy the thiaminase and enough of it gets injected along with what is supposed to get injected, beriberi (serious thiamine deficiency) could feasibly result in some who receive the vaccine.

Treatment can improve most of the symptoms of beriberi when begun in time.

From the Home Edition of the Merck Manual online:
    “Thiamine Deficiency Symptoms —
Early symptoms are vague. They include fatigue, irritability, poor memory, loss of appetite, sleep disturbances, abdominal discomfort, and weight loss. Eventually, a severe thiamin deficiency (beriberi) may develop, characterized by nerve, heart, and brain abnormalities. Different forms of beriberi cause different symptoms.

“Dry Beriberi: Nerve and muscle abnormalities develop. Symptoms include a prickling (pins-and-needles) sensation in the toes, a burning sensation in the feet that is particularly severe at night, and leg cramps and pain. Muscles may become weak and waste away (atrophy).

“Wet Beriberi: Heart abnormalities develop. The heart pumps more blood and beats faster. Blood vessels widen (dilate), making the skin warm and moist. Because the heart cannot continue to work at this level, heart failure eventually develops. As a result, fluid accumulates in the legs (as edema) and in the lungs (as congestion), and blood pressure may fall, leading to shock and death.

“Brain Abnormalities: Thiamin deficiency causes brain abnormalities primarily in alcoholics. Brain abnormalities may first cause symptoms after an alcoholic binge by suddenly worsening a long-standing deficiency. Brain abnormalities can also cause symptoms after an alcoholic is given carbohydrates intravenously. Symptoms occur because these extra carbohydrates further increase thiamin requirements. These brain abnormalities are called the Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome (see Brain Dysfunction: Wernicke-Korsakoff Syndrome), which has two parts:

“Wernicke’s encephalopathy causes confusion, difficulty walking, and eye problems, including involuntary eye movements (nystagmus) and partial paralysis of the eyes. If Wernicke’s encephalopathy is not promptly treated, symptoms may worsen, resulting in coma and even death.
Korsakoff’s psychosis causes memory loss for recent events, confusion, and a tendency to make up facts to fill in gaps in memories (confabulation).”

This corrects my former post, The Gardasil Adverse Events — Possible Thiamin-Deficiency Connection. Merck uses yeast, not silkworms, to make Gardasil. The yeast is Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Saccharomyces cerevisiae contain thiaminase, as do silkworms.
