Study Brings Us A Step Closer To Female Form Of Viagra

April 14, 2010

UK (ChattahBox) – A British study has brought us a step closer to creating an effective drug that would act to stimulate sexual arousal in women.

The pill was created to follow along the same pattern as Viagra for men, but specified for a female’s biology.

It increases blood flow to the genitals, creating sensitivity in the area and prolonging arousal, the first drug to do this for females as Viagra has been found to been ineffective in almost all cases.

This would not treat all forms of sexual dysfunction in women, but it is a good start in what is becoming a point of major interest for drug companies all over the world.

Because the issue of sexual problems in women tends to be directly related to desire, the scope of this drug would only reach about 5% of those with circulation problems leading to lack of arousal or vaginal dryness.

The drug was tested on rabbits, and showed great progress in solving that problem.
