Acne Series: Introduction

Alright, so we have covered the anti-aging product line, now it’s time for another important skin topic: acne control. Acne isn’t just a problem that teenagers face. Plenty of adults have their share of blemishes, and it can be a lifelong struggle, not to mention an embarrassing one.
While there are quite a few prescription topical creams, pills, and other items that are now available, they are expensive, which is a problem for the many uninsured, or those who live in countries that have free health care, but have difficulty getting into a dermatologist. They can also badly dry out the skin, or interfere with medications, such as birth control.
That’s why it’s a good thing we have made so many steps in fighting acne with over the counter products, most of which are very affordable, and just as effective as what you could get from the doctor. But rather then dedicate this series to the cheapest of the lot, as I did with my anti-aging reviews, I would like to look at some of the more popular product lines, such as Proactive, Nutrogena, and Mary Kay.
So, that is what you can expect in the coming days, and together I hope we can find the perfect acne control products for anyone’s skin type.
