Hubble Space Telescope Completes 100,000 Orbits

Boston (ChattahBox) - The Hubble Space Telescope has been confirmed to have completed a total of 100,000 orbits around Earth.
The Hubble Space Telescope launched back in April 1990 from Earth, and has had a historic run, traveling at 5 miles per second.
It has managed to orbit Earth 100,000 times, and has traveled 2.72 billion miles, and still going.
NASA is set to make their final service mission to the Hubble Space Telescope this fall.
It is expected to continue functioning until at east 2013.
