NASA has released details as to how they will fix vibration problems with their Ares I booster rocket..Boston (ChattahBox) – NASA has released details as to how they will fix vibration problems with their Ares I booster rocket.

NASA made it clear earlier in the year that they knew of the vibration problem with the Ares 1 rocket, and were working on a solution.

The solution NASA has come up with is to use 17 large vibration dampeners to counter the vibrations in the Ares I rocket.

The problem was happening during the time when the rocket accelerated, causing thrust oscillation issues.

NASA will use 17 vibration dampeners to counter the vibrations created.

The hope is that this will fix the problems which have persisited.
