A major upgrade is going to the International Space Station will turn urine into drinking water.<br /> .....Boston (ChattahBox) – A major upgrade is going to the International Space Station will turn urine into drinking water.

The NASA Endeavour crew, made up of 7 astronauts is set to launch for a 15-day mission to the ISS.

There will be many upgrades made by the astronauts including the installation of new bedrooms, a new kitchen, new bathroom, etc.

On top of that they will add a new water system to turn urine into drinking water.

Once completed, 6 astronauts will be able to live on the ISS.
