Chinese Launching Largest Solar Program In History

China (ChattahBox) – China has released details of a new solar program they will be launching this year, the largest of any country in history, that is hoped will pave the way for solar energy everywhere.

The $1.5 million dollar project will use photovoltaic cells to create thin panels that they are claiming will reach up to a full g30 megawatts of energy in it’s first installment. If the experiment is successful, they will increase the project to equal up to a full gigawatt.

The project is set to officially launch within the next few months, with more details being released as the panels are created. No word yet on what company will be supplying the panels.
