Paralyzed Man Feels Legs After Stem Cell Treatment

February 25, 2009

UK (ChattahBox) – A father of three who broke his neck twenty years ago is finally beginning to feel his legs again, after a revolutionary new stem cell treatment.

He underwent the therapy in Ecuador in 2007, and it was a mere three months before he began to notice changes. His circulation, which had been extremely poor, began to improve, and hair began to grow once again on his legs. He could even feel pinpricks in the limbs.

“Since the stem cell implant I am making a recovery,” Michael Flounders said.
“How long and how far it will go no-one can say because it is so new. It could still take a number of years before the full effects of the operation are felt because nerves are very slow in healing. It has given me a sense of real hope.”
