Global Warming To Be Stopped By Giant ‘Sun Shade’?

February 28, 2009

Arizona (ChattahBox) – Scientists at the University of Arizona have released their theory on a 100,000 square mile shade that would block harmful rays, and so solve the global warming crisis.

The ‘shade’ would be made of millions of mirrors, and shot into space with the use of a cannon 0.6 miles long, creating a reflective effect that, according to Dr Roger Angel, would be ‘guaranteed to work’.

“What we have developed is certainly effective and a method guaranteed to work,” Angel explained.
“Tests are ongoing but we expect to be ready to launch within 20 or 30 years time. Things that take a few decades are not that futuristic.”

Angel has been given funding for a test run of the concept, which will use a much smaller model to show the results. The actual project would cost approximately $350 trillion dollars, making it an expensive undertaking, to say the least.
