Russia Disputes Claims That Skull Fragment Not Hitler’s

December 9, 2009

Russia (ChattahBox) – Russian officials have denied claims made by a U.S. documentary that states the skull fragment and jaw bone kept in the country’s State Archive and FSB offices respectively are not actually Adolf Hitler’s.

The claims, made by a History Channel documentary that has so far only been shown in the United States, state that the skull and jaw fragments actually belong to a woman under the age of 40, and not a man in his 50’s, as Hitler was at the time of his suicide.

Russia denies this, saying that these are the only remaining pieces of evidence that proves Hitler committed suicide by shooting himself, after taking a cyanide tablet.

“Hitler’s jaw is at the FSB archives, the fragment of skull at the State Archive. These materials are the only documentary evidence of Hitler’s death,” Lieutenant-General Vasily Khristoforov, head archivist for the Federal Security Service, was quote by The Telegraph.

Some have accused the documentary of catering to conspiracy theorists who claim that Hitler lived, and moved to South America to spend his remaining days in hiding.
