there are places on our planet where water is WAY past the boiling point (360) but doesn’t boil due to the High pressure….and get this they support life without sunlight.

Guys, water’s boilong point is affected by pressure, the more pressure, the hotter it takes to boil. This planet probably has a lot of pressure, given a think atmosphere, hence the water could stay in tact at higher tempatures. Also, they said it was 400 on the surface of the water, so it must be cooler below the surface.

Josh the point of which where water or any other liguid is transformed into a gas could varydepending on the conditions of the planet and it may have the basic chemical makeup of water but have another element that we may not know on our planet and that unknown element could keep it resistant to heat but still basically be water. Hope you can take this into account.

How can it be 400 degrees with water, it would be steam at the most.
I think they got their temperatures wrong or its not water.
