Voyager 2 Send Strange Messages Back To Earth In Unknown Code
May 14, 2010
(ChattahBox) – Scientists are stunned after the Voyager 2, once sent out to communicate with possible intelligent life, began to send messages back to Earth using a data format never before seen on this planet.
The messages have so far been impossible to decode, and many experts have been collaborating in an effort to find out what it is that went on.
The Voyager 2 was launched in 1977, and scientists put on various messages, pieces of music, and other signals to send into space. The hope was that if there was intelligent life then over time the signals might be picked up, telling them about our planet.
Last month, scientists at NASA began to get something they never expected: a response.
Signals that they had not send out began to filter through the Voyager 2, including codes that they had never seen.
The codes have created interest all over the world, with theories ranging from the messages becoming mangled somehow upon returning, to aliens hijacking the craft.
Whatever happened, we won’t know anything until NASA figured out what they are.
