Point guard Baron Davis, has agreed in principle to a five-year contract with the Clippers worth a reported $65 million.

Davis spent nearly 4 years with the Warriors, helping them become the first No. 8 playoff seed to knock off a No. 1 seed in a seven-game series back in 2007.

Talks he had with the Golden State Warriors this season did not go well to say the least, as he missed a combined 47 games in two seasons before playing in all 82 last season.

He stated that he was doing what was best for him. Nothing can be made official until July 9 per NBA league rules.
