The Miami Dolphins have traded defensive end Jason Taylor to the Washington Redskins, in exchange for daft picks..Orlando (ChattahBox) – The Miami Dolphins have traded defensive end Jason Taylor to the Washington Redskins, in exchange for daft picks.

The 33-year old Taylor was traded for a second round draft pick in 2009, and a number six pick in 2010.

Taylor has played 11 seasons in the NFL, all with Miami to this point.

Reports state though that he was not the favorite player of Dolphins executive Bill Parcells, especially after his decision to take part in ABC’s Dancing With The Stars instead of going to camp.

The Redskins has been in need of a defensive end for quite some time, and Taylor could prove to be a major addition to their team.

He had 11 sacks last year, with 117 for his career.
